How to Disable the Hyperloq MiniTag Dual
This article is related to the Hyperloq MiniTag Dual and Google’s Find Hub app.
The Hyperloq MiniTag Dual can be disabled to stop it from sharing its location. It will no longer report to Google’s Find Hub network and the owner can no longer get updates on its current location.
If you receive a message on your Android device that a Hyperloq MiniTag Dual has been detected near you and you are not familiar with this device, you can make this MiniTag Dual ring through the system notification that you have received. After locating the item, use the steps described below to disable it. The owner will no longer receive updates on its location and it will no longer trigger unknown tracker alerts.
How to disable the MiniTag Dual device:
1. Locate the button on the MiniTag Dual device.
2. Press the button 5 times within 2 seconds, you will hear a prompt sound and the light will blink three times, the device then enters sleep mode.
3. MiniTag Dual is now disabled and will stop sharing its location.
Note: Once disabled, the device will no longer communicate with the Find Hub network.
How to enable MiniTag Dual identification
Locate the ON/OFF button on the front top of the Tag. Quickly press the button six times within 2 seconds, you will hear a prompt sound and the light will blink six times.
